Modern City Blues

lyrics

Sittin fillin out the book of lies while the sky is grey,
And your mother tells you something,
Get a steady job cos you can have fun in the afterlife, son.

Well I'm too drunk to greet and I'll warm my feet,
By dancin in an alleyway kiddin on I'm somewhere else,
Why would I even try to cut the smile off my face.

I see two plastic bottles and their wisdom's been poured,
I've had two good ideas but they've never made it out the door,
They could have influenced your mind and been on TV.
Thinkin it was endless really put some scars on my mind.

What do you think about that?
